How to Make an Admissions Appointment in the Multi-Calendar

Click and view the Multi-Calendar

To schedule an appointment by room, filter the calendar by location to Oregon Humane Society – Owner Surrenders & Transfers

Click in the blank white boxes under the date for which day you are selecting to schedule.

A pop up Create will appear to provide options to making a new appointment. Select Appointment.

Select the appointment type from the drop-down menu. For this example, we are selecting Owner Surrender – Cat

The duration of the appointment is already preselected. If you need to change it (based on more than one pet for the same species, then you can change the duration from the drop-down menu. Adult dogs, cats, and a litter of 4 kittens require 30 minutes each.

The host (room) is already populated into the correct field, so you don’t need to change anything with the host (room) unless you want to change the room.

Participants can be added that are already in Salesforce or new participants can be added at time of making the new appointment.  If they are already in Salesforce, then search for client by their email address and select their name from the drop-down menu. An appointment date and time cannot be selected without a participant and host selected.

 


 

If the client is not yet in Salesforce then select + New Participant.

Once the primary participant (client) and host (room) has been added, then select the day and available time.

Once available day and time has been selected, scroll down and add additional information about pet.

  • Animal ID# refers to the ShelterBuddy AID assigned for pet
  • Animal’s Name, same as what is entered into ShelterBuddy
  • Animal’s Breed
  • Number of Pets refers to total number of pets for appointment
  • Internal Notes refer to specifics about appointment for staff (i.e. POA, someone else arriving, etc.) These notes are for internal use only, not to be shared by client.
  • Message notes are viewable to the client if additional instructions are provided in the email confirmation

Click Book Appointment. A successful booking will show a green pop up on the multi-calendar.
